AC2T, Inc., the Mississippi-based corporation that markets the Spartan Mosquito Eradicator, has hit me with a Strategic Lawsuit Against Public Participation (a “SLAPP”) in response to a review of the device I posted on my blog and for communications I made with the Environmental Protection Agency. Details on the lawsuit here.

AC2T’s suit against me also functions as a way to silence others. Indeed, that is likely its main purpose. For example, the American Mosquito Control Association has done a thorough investigation of the Spartan Mosquito Eradicator but has decided to keep the findings private out of fear of litigation. The AMCA has also stayed silent on the Spartan Mosquito Pro Tech.
