Mystery dessert from Russian deli

I bought a few slabs of a crispy, chewy dessert at a Russian delicatessen in San Francisco a few weeks ago, and for the life of me I can’t figure out what it was.  Definitely had sweetened condensed milk in it, but lumps of something like a cookie, too.  Would love to find a recipe, or a mail-order source (it was good).  My guess is that it’s actually a dessert from Afghanistan. Managed to get a bad photograph of crumbs before those, too, were eaten.

Anyone recognize it?
